Toyota is making its Land Cruiser even more legendary than before as its Land Cruiser has been given new levels of luxury of style and design. This autumn, we will be witness to the introduction of a new and revised Land Cruiser Invincible grade. The land Cruiser Invincible has been placed at the top of the range as it offers drivers and passengers with better and more upgraded specifications than other models in the lineup.
This new Land Cruiser Invincible will now become a mainstream instead of just being a plain special edition. It will be replacing the LC5 Land Cruiser and to prepare it for being a mainstream model, Toyota has decided to equip it with a number of contemporary features that are necessary. These ‘must-have’ features include a rear parking monitor, black wood trim inserts, a leather and wood multi-function steering wheel, and a Bluetooth connectivity for hands-free operation.
The exterior styling that the Land Cruiser Invincible has makes it a whole lot different than the other land Cruiser models in the lineup, that is to say, the exterior styles sets it apart from the rest. This now-mainstream model sports a rear privacy glass and a subtle dark finish to its headlights, 17-inch alloy wheels, and front grill. But since it is a replacement for the LC5, some key features of the Invincible are the same with the LC5. These features include the full map satellite navigation with Electronic Traffic Avoidance, dual-zone climate control with independent front and rear controls, Toyota Electronically Modulated Suspension or TEMS, and nine-speaker sound system with six-disc CD changer.
The powertrain options for the Land Cruiser Invincible are a 3.0-liter D-4D diesel and 4.0- VVT-I V6 petrol engine. A choice of six-speed manual or five-speed automatic transmission comes with the 3.0 D-4D while the V6 has a standard automatic transmission.
Prices for the Land Cruiser Invincible are the following:
Land Cruiser Invincible 3.0 D-4D (6 M/T) £37,795
Land Cruiser Invincible 3.0 D-4D (5 A/T) £38,995
Land Cruiser Invincible 4.0 VVT-I V6 (5 A/T) £39,495

Vehicle fashion is the new passion and hobby of many car enthusiasts nowadays. Let’s blame the birth of this trend to MTV’s Pimp My Ride. But who’s complaining, anyway? Ever since car accessories or add-ons made their way to the automotive market, we saw automakers shredding off the traditional automobile look for cooler designs and styles.
Sleeker vehicles with hip designs soon roamed down the streets and highways, leaving us all bystanders in awe, with mouths wide open. Those who did not buy these sleek cars but still wanted to spread the vehicle fashion opted to just style their cars with trendy and hip accessories.
These accessories include exterior and interior accessories. Exterior accessories aim to create a new and ‘tastier’ look for the vehicles while interior accessories also provide better comfort. Bumpers, fender flares, fender skirts, bumper covers, customized headlights and tail lights, grill inserts, customized hoods, roof, hood, and rear spoilers, are what make up the exterior car add-ons. For interior accessories, there’s the customized dashboard, leathered seats, air conditioning, nice-looking floor mats, radio and CD player complete with MP3 compatible jack sockets, LCD monitors, and sound system.
These car accessories are what make cars nowadays looking really cool. Convenience, comfort, and style – these are the things cars are described these days. Not bad, huh?

Driving has now become a necessity ever since its function has been proven to be essential in everyday living. The birth of automobiles did not only mean that great distances can now be covered, it also meant that convenience can now be expected when traveling.
But traveling great distances via cars is not always a smooth ride as there’s always a need to consider the weather condition. But this is factor is unstable as weather changes all the time. So what drivers have to do is to prepare themselves on how they should drive in different weather conditions. Knowing what to do during different weathers will mean safety and comfort for both the driver and the passengers.
When it’s raining, slow down driving as the road tends to be slippery. Be really careful when turning and when you’re braking. The braking power of vehicles tends to take longer than usual because wheels will not have full grip on the road’s surface. Since that is the case with the brakes, you should also increase you distance to the car in front. Another important thing to remember is to turn your headlights when you are using your windshield wipers.
Now, there’s the winter season. The dreaded season of all drivers because of the hassles brought by snow, ice, and of course, the cold. Be sure to drive just as you would drive when it’s raining – slow driving, be careful in turning, and increase you distance from the car in front. And before using your car, remove all the snow and ice from every inch of your car and clear you windshield properly and defrost it before driving.
During sunny days, there is not much difficulty in driving but you still have to check the condition of some auto parts – the components of the air conditioning system and the radiator. These vehicle components will ensure that both the passengers and the car have a comfortable and relaxing ride all the way.
When fog is beginning to ruin your vision of the road, do not set your headlights in full blast, set it just to dim. Or better yet, use your fog lights. As the headlights are set to dim or the fog lights are turned on, your road vision may not be that far. So, just stay within you vision. But don’t force yourself to drive if the fog seems to thicken by the minute. Pull over and wait for the fog to fade.
All drivers will most likely encounter these different weather conditions so try not to forget these driving tips I’ve just provided. Safety must always be your top priority no matter what.

Motor Trend Magazine has decided that the 2008 model year for the Mazda CX-9 is the rightful owner of the title SUV of the Year after the Mazda SUV scored high in its tests.
The Editor-in-Chief of the magazine, Angus MacKenzie, even praised the 2008 Mazda CX-9 for its exceptional qualities saying that the CX-9 was “arguably the most enjoyable sports utility to drive, and a great reminder that SUVs can be exciting as any car.”
He also said, “We wondered if it would be possible for Mazda to inject its sports car DNA into their first-ever three-row crossover — a crossover that happened to be one of the largest in the lineup.”
The 2008 Mazda CX-9 benefits from the power provided by its 3.7-liter V6 engine. This engine has an incredible power output of 273 horsepower, with acceleration speed from zero to 60 miles per hour in just 7.8 seconds. The fuel economy of this praised SUV is 15 miles per gallon in the city and 21 mpg when running on the highway.

As they say, driving is both an entertaining experience but a responsibility as well. You have a responsibility to a lot of people when you’re on the road – to yourself, your car’s passenger, and to other motorists on the road. It’s as if you hold the life of your car’s passengers as they entrust you to be careful to prevent road accidents. One wrong move can lead to the crucial seconds that may end your and their lives.
It is for this huge responsibility that all drivers should practice alert driving. In alert driving, two things must be done at the same time. The first is to concentrate on the road and at the same time drive as if you’re on the defense.
Concentrating on the road means focusing entirely on the road ahead. But of course, it doesn’t mean being stiff when behind the wheel. Find yourself a comfortable position and focus straight ahead. You can also listen to music to calm your nerves and let you in for a relaxed yet concentrated driving. But needless to say, you should not just concentrate on the road but on your driving as well. This will give you quick reflex when you need it.
In line with quick reflexes, you could also achieve this by driving on the defense. As much as possible, always be ready for whatever may unexpectedly happen. I know it’s hard to think twice or straight when you’re sure you’re headed for a crash, but go for the lesser evil. Go for the least dangerous situation. Like, instead of experiencing head-on collision, try to turn run into a bush, or a fence, or a dump, or a tree, basically anything that’s softer or would cause less injuries. I know it’s hard do that when you’re already in the situation but it won’t hurt to try right? Or just have your car in good mechanical condition at all times so that it could save you from accidents.
There, so remember, be an alert driver. Concentrate and be on the defense.
